Corrections Policy

Reptile Explorer welcomes reports of factual errors, outdated information, unclear sourcing, and broken links.

How to report an issue

Please use our contact page and include the page URL, the statement in question, and any supporting source or context that will help us assess the report.

What happens next

We assess credible reports and correct confirmed material errors. When a material factual change is made, the article may show an updated date and a brief correction note where useful.

Routine changes

Routine edits to spelling, formatting, links, layout, or media may be made without a correction note. We do not change an article’s original publication date merely to make an older article appear new.

Health, conservation, and law

Information about animal health, captive care, wildlife, conservation, and law can change. Readers should seek advice from a qualified reptile veterinarian or the relevant wildlife or legal authority for decisions that affect an animal or a local regulation.
